Let me start off by saying that the staff here are very friendly and accommodating. They helped us when we were in a tough spot! Aside from that, I have a few complaints about the campground itself; 1) the bathrooms are disgusting. Mud all over tnt floor, hair in the sinks, stalls without TP for several days. It's just gross! 2) we are in a pop up camper and the staff decided to place us on the roadside of the campground. It is LOUD! Please put one of the monster motor homes near the road. 3) there was a large group of campers together. They were screaming around the campground until after 4am. That is completely unacceptable in my eyes. With all of that being said, I would come back simply for the beach access. It's nice and sandy. The playground is nice, too. They just need to work on cleanliness and noise.

I don't care for the park it seems everytime we go someone gets cut with those zibra mussels. When I was young they had slides in the water everyone loved them.

Haven't stayed.but dump here for $5 on the way home from Fishermans Island. Right off main road. Looks nice. Only one entrance. The entrance by ball fields is always closed.

East Jordan is a nice and cheaper way to visit the Charlevoix area. Parks are nice, people are nice. It's on the southern arm of the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is your average American tourist camping facility. It's not a bad place to camp, but it's not as rustic as I would have liked. There are only a few tent camping sites available, and they're all right next to a playground full of children. Only a few trees in the tent area so there isn't much shade. The rest of the park is dedicated to RVs. There is a bathroom and shower facility available - and while it's not super clean, it isn't disgusting either. Fire wood can be bought 24/7 from the main office, which is nice, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is more of a family place so the crowd was fairly quiet. This type of camping spot is more for the family get away than for rustic adventurers.
